I am writing a letter to tell you how important Children’s Lighthouse of Mag Creek has been to my family. First of all, both my son and daughter have attended school with you from the moment you all opened your doors in 2006; Hunter being in your before and after school program and Mollie being your first infant at your facility. I had never placed Hunter in childcare, but with Mollie I had made the choice to try it. Over the past couple of years, Mollie has blossomed into a beautiful young lady who will be attending your Private Kindergarten next year. Mollie loves going to school everyday and has been exposed to some of the most wonderful staff a parent could want in their child’s education. Your teachers have taught her to try her best, that God is always with her, and to absolutely love learning! Hunter has enjoyed the before and after school program where he has made new friendships, always had his homework completed by the time I pick him up (not rushed through, but checked thoroughly by his childcare teacher!), and most of all not just “babysat”, but taught extra curriculum about science and social studies. Plus, he thinks his after school teachers rock!

Childrens’ Lighthouse has provided my family with a nurturing environment that demonstrates that kids come first, manners are important, and God’s grace will help them in all that they do! Children’s Lighthouse has essentially become my family because I have allowed them to light my children’s future and I am proud that I have made the choice to not only start at Children’s Lighthouse, but give your loving staff the opportunity to make my children smile everyday.

Thanks for being there for my Hunter and Mollie, but most of all thanks for being there for a parent who was a little nervous at first- having not been part of a daycare program many years ago to a confident parent now. Thanks for always continuing to show me that you will do “whatever it takes” to make my kids successful!

Mondays we offer Dance with Ms. Krystal who has an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Development. Using her dance training and unconditional support, Ms. Krystal considers herself blessed to teach our children dance and skills for life.
Tumbling for Ages 2 & Up

Wednesdays we offer Tumble with Coach Chester who has 12 years of experience including training by Olympic Coach, Colby Vanclive for the last 7 years. Coach Chester is certified with the Gymnastic Association of Texas. He was also the 2004 Southwest Regional All Around Champion. Coach Chester is thrilled for the opportunity to share his passion with our children.
Music for Ages 2 & Up

On Thursdays we offer Music with Ms. Debbie. Debbie Maatthews is tthe owner/instructor for Music Time. She has been teaching preschool music since 2002. She focuses on pitch, tempo and rhythm through fun and by by doing creative activities. She plays acoustic guitar which introduces the children to a wide variety of instruments throughout the program. She also uses puppets, books, and props to teach music. She truly loves the children she teaches and they learn a lot from her.
All Around Sports Introduction for Ages 2 & Up

On Fridays we offer All Around Sports Introduction. Coach Clay comes from an amazing sports background. He played football and baseball at the University of Concordia in Nebraska. While obtaining his bachelors degree in biology, Coach Clay volunteered at multiple camps, including the University of Houston Camp. Coach Clay has a passion for children and he believes there is no greater feeling than watching children progress in their athletic ability.
